Russia's COVID-19 vaccination rate reached around 129 administered doses per 100 population as of May 26, 2023. The rate of fully vaccinated residents was nearly 55.1 per 100 people. Furthermore, nearly one-fifth of respondents reported being vaccinated already at that point. The most common motives to get vaccinated for Russians were to be able to travel without restrictions and not to worry about their health. The main reason behind vaccination hesitancy was a concern about the long-term consequences of COVID-19 vaccines.
