As of May 2023, over 88 million Russians got at least one vaccine dose. Such sectors included healthcare, education, retail, and various services, among others. The restrictions were largely lifted in the spring and summer of 2022.Attitude toward COVID-19 vaccination in Russia When asked if they planned to get vaccinated against COVID-19, over one-quarter of Russians stated they would definitely or most probably do it, according to a survey from June 2021. Furthermore, nearly one-fifth of respondents reported being vaccinated already at that point. The most common motives to get vaccinated for Russians were to be able to travel without restrictions and not to worry about their health.
