资源简介:
The tide is an alternate and regular rise and fall of sea level in oceans and other large bodies of water. The Massachusetts coastline has a diurnal tide with two high and low tides each day. NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) has placed tide gauge stations in different locations along the coast to measure the rise and fall of the water. These data show the location of these tide gauge stations and were taken from the NOAA Tides and Currents web site at http://www.tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov on Sept. 22, 2006 by the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management.
