Total RNA extracted from pooled pancreas tissue of 10-week-old male offspring of control or methionine-deficient mothers. Gene expression profiles were generated using Affymetrix Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Arrays. Expression comparison was made between the control and methionine-deficient groups. Pancreatic RNA from control or methionine-deficient mice was pooled per group before microarray analysis. Each pooled sample was analyzed on one chip.
