Diplomatic Ambiguity and Reactive Governance: Network Evidence from the Non-Intervention Committee (1938)

This repository contains the full reproducibility package for the article: “Diplomatic Ambiguity and Reactive Governance: Network Evidence from the Non-Intervention Committee (1938)” The dataset and scripts allow complete replication of all quantitative results reported in the study, including: Figures 1–6 Tables 1–5 The package implements a multilevel network methodology distinguishing between: Network A: real interpersonal diplomatic interactions Network B: person–institution relations Network C: documentary network derived from archival sources The analytical pipeline includes: Controlled weighted projections Centrality and mediation metrics Monthly temporal network dynamics Cumulative network growth analysis Event-based structural change detection Network analysis of documentary contradictions All scripts are written in Python and rely exclusively on open-source libraries.Only the minimal datasets required to reproduce the published results are included, ensuring transparency while respecting data parsimony.
