Brazil: chocolate brands penetration rate 2018

In 2018, Mondelēz was the sweets company with the highest brand penetration in the chocolate segment in Brazil. Nearly 68 percent of households purchased chocolate of brands marketed by this company during the previous year. In 2017, chocolate retail sales in the country amounted to 3.6 billion U.S. dollars.
