Moure Neotropical Bees Cataogue

2022 Version Moure’s Catalog for Neotropical bee species. Taxonomic information, published from 2011 to 2021. The Brazilian fauna, which in the 2007 version consisted of 1678 species, now contains 1965 species, as follows: 121 belonging to Andreninae, 1031 to Apinae (of which 251 to Meliponini), 126 to Colletinae, 337 to Halictinae and 350 to Megachilinae. Some new taxa were not cataloged in this version due to the impossibility of accessing the original content of the publication. It is also important to warn that the information contained in the online versions of Moure’s catalog, for the most part, only refer to what is published in the literature. Thus, there is a large amount of unpublished information regarding taxonomic positioning, synonymy, existence of type material considered lost, etc., which are not being incorporated in the online versions.
