The development of a remote prototyping system for Internet of Things devices for educational and research purposes is presented. A Smart laboratory facilitates remote execution of the complete cycle of user interaction with a physical device. The user gets an environment for connecting peripheral modules, visual control and interaction with software services. The study examines in detail the process of developing a Smart laboratory bench and the organization of its internal network infrastructure. The bench modules are designed for prototyping Internet of Things devices. Each module consists of a Raspberry Pi microcomputer and a bench device \u2013 a debugging board with a microcontroller (MCU) and a set of pluggable modules. Network interaction is organized using the MQTT protocol. This protocol is used to operate the infrastructure of the smart laboratory and to connect bench devices and Internet of Things services. The LoRaWAN network is implemented using the ChirpStack network server and a Microchip gateway. The experimental results confirmed the reliability of communication and the possibility of data transmission. The work establishes a new methodology for distance learning and the prospects for using network technologies for transfer and firmware of the microcontroller.
