Code Code to reproduce all figures is included in code.zip. The code is also available on GitHub at https://github.com/lanl/epicast_heterogeneity. See README.md within code.zip or the GitHub page for more details (license, copyright, etc.). The code should work as is, you only need to provide the locaiton of the unzipped data (i.e., the path to the folder extracted from data.zip); however, if you encounter a bug please try the code on GitHub or file an issue on the GitHub repository page. All included code has been approved for open source release and has been assigned O4867. Data organization main_figures Epicast run data that is used for the main figures of the paper: Figures 4, 5, 6 and S1-S3. figure3 Epicast run data used for Figure 3. aux Data exported from UrbanPop containing demographic data for agents from NM, NY, and FL that is used for Figures 4-6 and S1-S3. sa_runs Epicast run data, using an alternate set of parameters, that supports Figures S4-S6. See the manuscript or code for details. File formats The demographic data contained in the aux directory is made availabe as CSV files. The simulation results in the figure3, sa_runs, and main_figures directories are made available in both binary (events.bin extension) and gzipped CSV formats. The binary files can be accessed using the code that accompanines the paper (code.zip or on the GitHub repo). Release These data are approved for public distribution by Los Alamos National Laboratory under LA-UR-25-20531.
