Our data describes the ethanol extraction and solvent (n-hexane, ethylacetate, chloroform ) partitioning yields of 16 anti-tumour medicinal plants collected from south west Nigeria. At the end of the partitioning process, we separated polyphenols from the aqueous fractions using polyamide-6 solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges. Purified extracts and fractions were tested on brineshrimps and percentage mortality was used for probit analysis.
