The purpose of the study was to analyse and describe the synergy occurring between the biomass matrix and the polymer matrix during the thermal conversion of solid biofuel samples. The object of the study was wood biomass and a model sample containing PP, PE, LDPE, ABS, PET (transparent and coloured), PMMA, PA6, PS, PVC, PC, and POM, among others. The scope of the research conducted was Py-GC-MS analytical pyrolysis and TG-DSC analysis.
