Data and Codes for Linking species distributions and urban governance through social ecological fit in blue green infrastructure

This dataset accompanies the manuscript titled "Linking Species Distributions and Urban Governance through Social-Ecological Fit in Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI)." .The study explores how ecological data and urban governance structures interact through a network-based framework, focusing on declining amphibian species in an urban context. Using the concept of social-ecological fit, the research combines spatial models of habitat suitability and connectivity with social network analysis based on a survey of multi-sector actors involved in the planning and management of BGI. The dataset includes all files necessary to reproduce the main analyses presented in the manuscript. The provided R script performs the core analyses described in the manuscript. It includes data preparation, Exponential Random Graph Model (ERGM) fitting and validation, motif count analysis, computation of centrality measures, and visualization of social-ecological networks. While the script is configured to reproduce the main results, it can also be adapted to reproduce the analyses presented in the Supporting Information, which focus on amphibian species with higher dispersal abilities. All necessary data are included for this purpose, with only minor adjustments to the script required. This dataset is intended to support reproducibility, transparency, and reusability for researchers and practitioners interested in urban biodiversity, ecological planning, and collaborative governance.
