Genomic characterization of DPV isolated from infected Duck in Bangladesh

Duck plague, or duck viral enteritis (DVE), is a highly contagious and fatal disease in ducks in Bangladesh, caused by the Anatid herpesvirus 1, posing a significant threat to the duck farming industry. Genetic characterization of circulating Anatid herpesvirus 1 isolated from infected duck in Bangladesh involves the comprehensive analysis of the viral complete genetic material. This allows for the identification of genetic variations in the organism. Sequencing the entire genome helps in better understanding the molecular mechanisms of infection, tracking the epidemiology of the virion, and developing more effective strategies for controlling Duck plague in Bangladesh.
