The dataset describes a hypergraph-based higher-order knowledge representation methodology designed to support agentic scientific reasoning. Moving beyond traditional pairwise knowledge graphs, this approach more effectively captures higher-order interactions among multiple entities, suitable for modeling the mechanistically coupled, multi-entity structures and physical behavior underlying complex scientific phenomena. Applied to a scientific corpus on biocomposite scaffolds, the research demonstrates how domain knowledge can be organized into a scale-free hypergraph, enabling explicit detection of co-occurring ideas and inter-concept influences to support hypothesis generation and novel material design.
