资源简介:
Dataset used in the following study: López-Riobóo, E., & Martínez-Castilla, P. (2024). Prosodic skills in Spanish-speaking adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome. International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders, 59(4), 1284-1295. https://doi.org/10.1111/1460-6984.13001
The study examined prosodic perception and production in Spanish-speaking adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome using the PEPS-C test. Compared with peers with other intellectual disabilities maatched on chronologial age and nonverbal cognition, the DS group showed significantly poorer performance on most prosodic tasks, except for emotional prosody, where results were comparable. The findings suggest that a generalization about a better profile in comprehension versus production is not possible.
