Treating wild-type S. pombe cells and ?wee1 mutant with 20mM H2O2, we observed that aberrant Cdc2 activity, as in case of ?wee1 cells can lead to major changes in the Spc1 dependent global transcriptional response to oxidative stress. Overall design: Differential gene expression studies were carried out using Next Generation Sequencing , following 20mM H2O2 treatment in a Wee1 ldeletion mutant w.r.t untreated cells. Two biological replciates per condition and genotype.
