Host and environment govern bee gut microbiota

In the current project, our general aims were to find out 1) whether and how host-niche and the geographic environment shape gut microbiotas; 2) the ecological mechanisms underlying the construction, maintenance and stability of the gut microbiotas; 3) whether and how geographic environment influences the coevolution of the core microbiotas within bee-gut.
