Study protocol and statistical analysis plan for a randomized trial evaluating intraoperative MRI in brain metastasis surgery

This dataset contains two text documents related to the prospective randomized controlled trial “Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of Intraoperative MRI in the Surgery of Brain Metastases”: the study protocol and the statistical analysis plan. The trial evaluates whether intraoperative MRI guidance improves the rate of complete resection of brain metastases compared with standard surgery without intraoperative MRI. The study is designed as a single-centre, prospective, randomized, controlled, single-blind, parallel-group trial with 1:1 allocation to intraoperative MRI-guided surgery versus standard surgery. The planned sample size is 154 patients, with 77 patients per group.</br>
