Number of social media followers of CAF 2022, by platform

Facebook was the social media platform with the highest number of followers for the Confédération Africaine De Football (CAF) after the African Cup of Nations (AFCON or CAN). As of February 2022, CAF had around 5.45 million followers on Facebook. The social media platform was the second-highest growing during the tournament (following TikTok). Furthermore, Twitter followed with almost 5.3 million subscribers and was the most-followed social media platform for CAF before the AFCON 2021.
