The zip folder here contains data, code, and Supplementary Materials for the article entitled "Demand-Side Factors in Maternal Health Outcomes: Evidence from a Community Health Worker Program in Uganda." The Supplementary Materials provide in-depth discussion of select methodological matters, including outcome measurement and variable construction, along with additional analyses. The provided folder hierarchy should be used to run the code and to output the results properly. To replicate the analysis, please run the 'MASTER_ANALYSIS' file located in the 'do-files' folder. Note that the raw data include the following files, which are all located in the 'data > raw_data' folder: (1) 'woman_total_baseline_repository': This dataset contains the pre-intervention survey data at the woman (respondent) level. (2) 'woman_total_endline_repository': This dataset contains the post-intervention survey data at the woman (respondent) level. (3) 'hh_composition_baseline_repository': This dataset contains the pre-intervention survey data for the respondent's household roster. Note that the programming code (written in Stata) includes the following files, which are all located in the 'do-file' folder: (1) 'MASTER_ANALYSIS': This file carries out all of the analysis presented in the article. (2) 'woman_gen_variables_BL': This file generates new variables in the baseline data and is called by the 'MASTER_ANALYSIS' file. (3) 'woman_gen_variables_EL': This file generates new variables in the endline data and is called by the 'MASTER_ANALYSIS' file.
