In this study, the antennal cDNA libraries of male and female Semanotus bifasciatus were sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq, we obtained 45,110 unigenes, with an N50 of 1484 bp and a mean length of 844.48 bp. A total of 32 odorant-binding proteins, 8 chemosensory proteins, 71 odorant receptors, 34 gustatory receptors, 18 ionotropic receptors, and 3 sensory neuron membrane proteins were identified.
