Malaria deaths in the Dominican Republic 2010-2022

In 2022, the Dominican Republic reported no deaths due to malaria, down from one death caused by the disease a year earlier. The number of malaria deaths in the Caribbean country constantly decreased during the period depicted. In the last year examined, Brazil reported 50 deaths related to malaria, making it the country with the highest number of malaria deaths in Latin America.
