In this study we examined the microbiota of Mytilus edulis during Vibrio splendidus infection. Total microbiota of 30 mussels and 3 seawater samples was characterised using 16S (V3-V4) amplicon sequencing.Results showed the reduction of microbial diversity and the appearance of pathobiontic communities after Vibrio exposure.
