This series records applications from Soldier Settlement lessees for financial assistance from the Closer Settlement Board (VA 2266) to obtain stock, seed, farm equipment and requisites or labouring assistance.Details given are the number and date of the application, the correspondence number, the name of the applicant, the item being applied for, the vendor from whom it would be obtained and details of the amount granted. Unit 2 also gives details of the payment of the amount to the vendor.Unit 1 of this series was previously registered as Unit 18 of VPRS 753 Records of the Closer Settlement Agencies.
