The mooring data were obtained during eight cruises of the R/V <em>Onnuri</em> from October 2007 to May 2014 as part of the POSEIDON (Northwestern Pacific Ocean Study on Environment and Interactions between Deep Ocean and marginal seas) Project by Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) (PE99231). The three mooring stations, namely M1, M2, and M3, are located at 17.2°N, 13.6°N, and 21.6°N, respectively, along the descending altimetry satellite track (~135°E). The CTD data were obtained from the same project as mooring data in May 2014, along the descending altimetry satellite track (~135°E) from 12° to 22°N.
