Blue-lined octopus copulation

This dataset contains the original video recordings of the blue-lined octopus copulation, which were used in the supplementary video in our publication. Nine videos were deposited in this permanent DOI in UQeSpace as the open dataset. Eight videos of copulation behaviour (total 121 minutes) provided different view angles to examine the copulation behaviour in detail. One clip of MRI (9.4 Tesla, 75 μm isotropic resolution) showed a three-dimensional animation of the female blue-lined octopus, the associated internal organs and the males' biting sites (20 seconds).
