How Undergraduate Software Engineering Students Navigate Learning Materials Across Contexts

This replication package contains the anonymized dataset, analysis scripts, and documentation for the study “How Undergraduate Software Engineering Students Navigate Learning Materials Across Contexts.” It includes all materials needed to reproduce the Bayesian ordinal mixed‑effects models, empirical transition matrices, Markov chain analyses, gateway‑score computations, and latent class/transition models reported in the paper. All analyses were conducted in Python, using libraries such as PyMC, pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib. The package also includes the full survey instrument and the rule‑based Python script used for qualitative coding.
