Surficial Geology Polygons

The purpose of the data is to document the spatial limits of the three-dimensional map-unit areas. The intent of the polygons is to show how the materials associated with the shallow subsurface geology changes laterally across the mapped area. Polygons denote areas where the shallow subsurface geology stated in the attached attributes, also known as stacks, adequately describe the geology underneath that polygon down to and including the uppermost bedrock unit.
