A comprehensive thermal-hydraulic model study was conducted on the TALL-3D experimental platform established by the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH Royal Institute of Technology) in Switzerland. The research team utilized the ATHLET program to meticulously construct a model aimed at analyzing the potential functional failure probability of the experimental setup in the event of a total power plant blackout emergency. During the research process, referencing certain literature, a total of 10 key uncertainty parameters were selected, and their value ranges were prudently set to a uniform distribution to ensure the broad applicability and accuracy of the analysis. These parameters include, but are not limited to, the main heater power, expansion pressure, secondary side inlet flow rate, and the secondary side temperature of the heat exchanger, all of which have a crucial impact on system performance. Through the simulation analysis conducted by the ATHLET program, the research team is able to simulate the thermal-hydraulic behavior of the system under various working conditions, including key indicators such as fluid temperature, pressure distribution, and flow characteristics. This simulation not only provides a powerful tool for assessing system performance but also offers a scientific basis for predicting the potential failure probability of the system.
