This dataset is presented in the form of an Excel file, which contains 9 sheets. The specific naming and detailed information of each form are as follows: The "Trial Site Information" sheet records the specific site-related information for the trial, including field name, geographical location, altitude, and other fields, providing basic geographical information background for the entire dataset. The "Soil Basic Properties Before Trial" sheet covers the basic soil property data from 1990 before the start of the long-term fixed-location trial, such as soil pH value, organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content, reflecting the basic state of the soil at the start of the trial. The "Trial Design" sheet records the trial design scheme, including key information such as treatment description, fertilizer application rate, and whether straw is returned to the field or not, serving as an important basis for understanding the overall trial structure and different treatment settings.
