Soil communities associated with the roots of Stipagrostis Metagenome

These metagenomes were sequenced to investigate the differences in taxonomy and functionality of 3 distinct niches associated with Stipagrostis grasses. We sequenced the microbial communities of the rhizosheath (soil intimately associated with the root), the rhizosphere (community influenced by root exudate), and adjacent barren soil (unaffected by the root).
