资源简介:
Photograph showing boats sunk by the British to block the entrance to the German-held channel at Zeebrugge, ca.1919. The two old cruisers are partially submerged in a canal at center. The one in the foreground is the Intrepid, and the one behind it is the Ipheginia. Further into the harbor is the Thetis, which was disabled before reaching the channel. The canal in which the two ships are sunk is a narrow waterway with sloping brick walls on the sides. The mole around the harbor is visible in the distance behind the ships.
