An Epigenome-Wide Association Study (EWAS) was conducted to compare medication-free panic disorder (PD) patients (n=89) with healthy controls (n=76) in peripheral blood samples. Overall design: Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood. Bisulphite converted DNA was then hybridised to the Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation450 BeadChip to examine DNA methylation for each sample.
