We propose to perform TOO observations of the transient X-ray pulsar V0332+53 in the subcritical regime (never observed before). The purpose of these observations is to measure the cyclotron line energy in this lowest observable state. The INTEGRAL measurements will be used jointly with our NuSTAR/Swift/XMM-Newton program for searching the critical luminosity in X-ray pulsars. To reconstruct the broad-band spectrum accurately we ask about the entire INTEGRAL revolution (~170 ksec) with the hexagonal dither pattern. The expected source flux is about 15-20 mCrab in the 17-60 keV energy band. Due to limitations of the source visibility with INTEGRAL and the flux decay we ask to perform observatiosn asap (preferably in the revolution 1596) [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
