资源简介:
FIT WSNS collected wind data from two anemometers at a residential test site in Satellite Beach, FL. The FIT LiDAR was located across the street and sampled winds at 11 vertical range gates (11 m to 300 m). The WSNS wind data was used in analysis of wind loads measured on the structure in conjunction with the determination of aerodynamic roughness around the site.
LiDAR and anemometer data collection period during the passage of Hurricane Ian from 27 September - 30 September 2022 at a residential test site in Satellite Beach, Florida (Latitude 28.175748°, Longitude -80.593326°). Two FIT WSNS anemometers (RM Young model 01503V) were mounted on a mast (5.8 m, 4.2 AGL) along the east roof and west roof gables respectively, data were recorded at 1 Hz. The FIT LiDAR wind profiler (ZephIR 300) was placed in a secured residential backyard ~ 50 m across the street, sampling at 11 heights between 11 m and 300 m AGL (measurement levels, m AGL: 11, 25, 39, 50, 60, 90, 110, 160, 210, 250, 300). A full volume scan is completed approximately every 20 seconds. Additional meteorological data (ambient air temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure) were collected from an independent Airmar meteorological station on top of the LiDAR at 1 m AGL. The calibrated anemometer data along with LiDAR wind data are available for viewing and download. More information on the datasets can be found in supporting documents
