Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at East of the M40 J11 Banbury Interchange, Banbury, Oxfordshire, January - February 2023

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at land east of the M40 J11 Banbury Interchange, Banbury, Oxfordshire undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in January to February 2023. Investigated features include furrows, field boundary ditches and a probable pond or extraction pit, all of medieval to early modern date, collectively suggesting that the site area has been in agricultural use since at least the medieval period.
