资源简介:
Black rot disease caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc), is the leading bacterial disease of Brassicaceae, affecting crops worldwide. Studies on the molecular mechanisms interaction of Xcc - B. oleracea have identified several virulence genes, mostly inferred using in vitro approaches, thus resulting in a knowledge gap concerning the in vivo behavior of this pathogen during pathogenesis. Within this framework, the pathogenicity and virulence of a set of Xcc strains was characterized, and the in vivo transcriptomes of strains in the extremes of the virulence spectrum were profiled, using RNA-Seq, bringing new insights on the molecular mechanisms of host-pathogen interaction.
