Raw 16S rRNA gene sequencing data from faecal samples collected from BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice at 2 weeks following experimental infection with 1,000 cysts of Giardia muris, and uninfected controls of each mouse line.
The data set includes three types of files:
1. Raw reads files – 2 per sample (demultiplexed): e.g. Sample-I3_S16_L001_R1_001.fastq.gz and Sample-I3_S16_L001_R2_001.fastq.gz
2. Metadata file containing the relevant contextual information for each sample: Mouse_Giardia_muris_gut-microbiota.csv
3. OTU table created using Qiime2 including all of the taxonomic information: OTU_table.biom
