Raw Data_The Relationship Between Perfectionism and Depression Among College Students
收藏资源简介:
The dataset, entitled “Raw Data_The Relationship Between Perfectionism and Depression Among College Students,” was collected between January and April 2025 from undergraduate students enrolled in multiple universities in China via the Wenjuanxing platform (www.wjx.cn). After excluding invalid responses based on attention checks and response time criteria, a total of 1,220 valid questionnaires were retained for analysis. Guided by Social Cognitive Theory and the Stress–Vulnerability Model, the study measured perfectionism, coping style, loneliness, self-esteem, and depression as key variables to examine the associative patterns between perfectionism and depression, as well as the multiple mediating pathways of coping style, loneliness, and self-esteem within this relationship. This dataset provides valuable insights into how the association between perfectionistic characteristics and depressive symptoms among college students is reflected at the levels of psychological resources and emotional experiences.
