资源简介:
This study aimed to determine the prevalence of visual and posture-related perceptual deficits and their correlation with prolonged screen time in young collegiate students, using a systematic approach based on STROBE guidelines. Participants with daily screen exposure of more than 4 hours were selected according to eligibility criteria after obtaining informed consent, and their screen time was assessed using a Screen Time Questionnaire. Those exceeding 4 hours were further evaluated using the Computer Vision Syndrome Questionnaire (CVS-Q), where individuals scoring ≥6 were included for detailed assessment. These participants were then assessed for posture-related deficits using standardized tools, namely the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and the Tinetti Performance-Oriented Mobility Assessment (POMA). The collected data was used to estimate the prevalence of perceptual deficits and to analyze the correlation between visual and posture-related deficits in individuals with prolonged screen time.
