Drugs sensitivity profile in L. donovani intracellular amastigote lines.

Intracellular amastigote L. donovani lines were obtained after infection of mouse peritoneal macrophages with the different promastigote resistant lines as described in Material and Methods section. After 72 h, drug activity was determined from the percentage of infected cells and the number of amastigotes by cells in drug-treated cultures versus non-treated cultures.
