资源简介:
ANP is a hormone produced by the heart and exerts a number of physiological phenomena such as blood pressure control. ANP works via its canonical receptor called GC-A. It has recently been shown that ANP administration to cancer-bearing mice prevent cancer metastasis. However, how the ANP pathway inhibits cancer metastasis remains unknown. We addressed this question by using multiple cancer transplantation models in mice. Briefly, we treated mice with ANP in the presence or absence of cancers, and performed RNA-seq analysis on the lung, a preferred target of cancer metastasis. In addition, we compared the lung transcriptome between wild type and GC-A transgenic mice in the presence or absence of cancers.
