"Parcels will be offered in a Call for Bids from which licences will be issued to successful bidders. Each parcel is composed of sections of grid areas which are defined in the Canada Oil and Gas Regulations. In the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Area, the maximum allowable parcel size is 800 sections with the only exception being parcels within the Jeanne d’Arc region, which cannot exceed 400 sections."本次招标出让活动将推出多宗石油天然气勘探开发地块，中标投标人将据此获得对应地块的作业许可证。每宗地块由《加拿大油气法规》中划定的网格区块单元组成。在加拿大-纽芬兰与拉布拉多近海区域内，单宗地块的最大允许规模为800个网格区块单元；唯一例外为珍妮达克（Jeanne d’Arc）海域内的地块，其规模不得超过400个网格区块单元。
