资源简介:
Breast cancer could be related to BRCA1/2 alterations genetically shared in familial context. However, genetic predisposition is not the only factor determining tumor onset. It is well-known the importance of genetics-environment interaction. Indeed, the influence of insulin, glucose and estradiol have been reported. The aim of the present study was to uncover the relationships between Mediterranean ary intervention, miRNA expression and metabolic parameters. Plasma samples of BRCA-alterated subjects have been collected at the baseline and after six months from the beginning of regimen. Moreover, subjects have been randomized in two groups: ary intervention and placebo. miRNA profiling and subsequent ddPCR validation have been performed in all the subjects and in both time points.
