“Mission de Sien-hsien (PP. Jésuites français). 11 – Jeunes brodeuses, élèves de la Mission.” Young girls at the mission pause in their embroidery work to pose for a photo. The embroidered fabric is stretched on a large wood frame on an elevated stand. The children are dressed warmly in long quilted jackets and pants. The following information is printed on the back of the postcard: "Procure des Missions. Bulletin ‘Chine, Ceylan, Madagascar’. Lille, 73, rue des Stations. Téléph. 60.42. Ch. Post. 134. Phototypie ̶ 49, rue de Canteleu. Lille.” There is no handwriting on the back.
