Identifying a pathway to sustainable futures through children's perspectives

Data for a study to explore children’s perspectives on their well-being as a pathway to sustainable futures within the South African context. The qualitative research study was applied, and a case study design was used to explore children's perspectives on their well-being. The study used a non-probability snowball sample to identify child participants between the ages of 8 and 12 years who resided in Sunnyside, Region 3 of the City of Tshwane municipality. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews guided by an interview schedule and complemented by visual communication cards. Data collected was analysed by following the thematic analysis process.
