Solar photovoltaic capacity in Sweden 2013-2023

The installed capacity of solar photovoltaic power has significantly increased in Sweden during the last years. In 2015, the Scandinavian country had a solar PV capacity of roughly 100 megawatts. By 2023, this figure had increased to over 3.5 gigawatts. The installed onshore wind capacity in Sweden was much higher than solar PV, at over 14 gigawatts in 2022.
