Continuous meteorological observations at the Naples's Capo Posillipo weather station (Naples, Italy) during the period JAN.2025-DEC.2025

Meteorological data monitoring is ongoing since 2013 in the province of Naples thanks to full sensors weather stations. The aim of this activity is to acquire time series to analyze the influence of meteorological factors (temperature, relative humidity, wind, barometric pressure, solar radiation and rain) on geomorphological coastal processes, such as cliff retreat, landslides and beach erosion. Here we upload the solar radiation dataset measured during the period from 2025-01-01_T00:10 to 2025-12-31_T23:50 (uploading interval: 10 minutes). Data transfer from the weather station to the ISMAR-CNR processing center of Naples by an internet LAN connection. Funding and management of the coastal weather stations are within the frame of the CNR-ISMAR Marine Observing System (SOM), constituting a major scientific and operational component of the Italian Integrated Ocean Observing System (IT-IOOS).
