Description of Data Products This dataset contains processed data products associated with the publication 'On the use of 6C seismic station for bending-to-shear and torsional building response assessment at TAIPEI101'. The files provide information on mode analysis, peak power spectral density amplitudes, and derived modal parameters based on seismic 6C data. S3: are the results from the station T1S3 S4: are the results from the station T1S4 hourly: the derived products are from hourly timeseries non-hourly: the derived products are from 8 hour timeseries BS: are the results using the blueSeis-3A rotation sensor and collocated accelerometer non-BS: are the results using the Eentec-R1 rotation sensor and collocated accelerometer Sensor Description The Station T1S3 is on the West side and T1S4 on the East side of the tower, both on the 90th floor which is at 386 m. The sensor describtion below is taken from the manuscript: The Eentec R-1 rotation sensors with a sampling rate of 20 sps have a sensibility of 1.2·10−7 rad/s which is frequency dependent and the collocated translation Kinemetrics accelerometer with a sampling rate of 20 sps has a sensibility of 2.337· 10−4cm/s2 (Chen et al., 2012). Translational and rotational components are aligned with the north-south and east-west direction, and the z-component points upwards, denoted as BLZ, BLN, and BLE for translations, and BRZ, BRN, and BRE for rotations, respectively. In 2018, a blueSeis-3A rotation sensor by exail (former IXBlue) was deployed for three consecutive days (275-277) in that year. Due to some data gaps, only about a third of the time has usable data. The blueSeis-3A is insensitive to temperature as it is based on fiber optic sensing (Bernauer et al., 2018). Dataset Structure (non-BS) Each file follows a structured format with columns representing time, spatial components, data types, mode types, spectral amplitudes, peak-picked frequencies, and results from the RDT method. The order of the values is as follows: # date&time,[x,y,z],[mrc,grc,mgrc],[T1N,T1E,R1,T2N,T2E,R2,T3N,T3E,R3],mean_ampl_trans,mean_ampl_rc,mean_ampl_rot,f_trans,f_mgrc,f_rot,RDT_f_t,RDT_f_r,RDT_d_t,RDT_d_r A description of each value is given below: Date & Time: Formatted as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS (e.g., 20140101090000 for 2014-01-01T09:00:00 UTC). [x, y, z]: Cartesian coordinate components in the East-North-Up (ENU) system, coded as [009,008,007]. [mrc, grc, mgrc]: Type of displacement time series used: mrc (100): Rotation corrected for misorientation. grc (200): Rotation corrected for gravitational leakage. mgrc (300): Rotation corrected for both misorientation and gravitational leakage. [T1N, T1E, R1, T2N, T2E, R2, T3N, T3E, R3]: Mode types analyzed, with corresponding codes [1-9]. Spectral Amplitudes: mean_ampl_trans: PSD amplitude from displacement data without rotation correction. mean_ampl_rc: PSD amplitude from displacement data with rotation correction. mean_ampl_rot: PSD amplitude from rotation angle data. Peak-Picked Frequencies: f_trans: From translation (no rotation correction). f_mgrc: From translation with full rotation correction. f_rot: From rotation angle data. Modal Parameter Estimation via RDT: RDT_f_t & RDT_f_r: Frequency estimates for translation and rotation. RDT_d_t & RDT_d_r: Damping estimates for translation and rotation. For torsional modes (R1, R2, R3), frequency and damping values are derived only from the Z-component of rotation angle data. For translational modes, values are extracted only from the dominant direction of motion, leading to NaNvalues in some columns. Dataset Structure (BS) Each file follows a structured format with columns representing time, spatial components, data types, mode types, spectral amplitudes, peak-picked frequencies, and results from the RDT method. The order of the values is as follows: # date&time,[x,y,z],[m],[T1N,T1E,R1,T2N,T2E,R2,T3N,T3E,R3],mean_ampl_rc,mean_ampl_rot,f_grc,f_rot A description of each value is given below: Date & Time: Formatted as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS (e.g., 20140101090000 for 2014-01-01T09:00:00 UTC). [x, y, z]: Cartesian coordinate components in the East-North-Up (ENU) system, coded as [009,008,007]. [mrc, grc, mgrc]: Type of displacement time series used: mrc (100): Rotation corrected for misorientation. grc (200): Rotation corrected for gravitational leakage. mgrc (300): Rotation corrected for both misorientation and gravitational leakage. [T1N, T1E, R1, T2N, T2E, R2, T3N, T3E, R3]: Mode types analyzed, with corresponding codes [1-9]. Spectral Amplitudes: mean_ampl_rc: PSD amplitude from displacement data with grc rotation correction. mean_ampl_rot: PSD amplitude from rotation angle data. Peak-Picked Frequencies: f_grc: From translation with grc correction. f_rot: From rotation angle data.
