Data and code underlying the publication: Accounting for spatio-temporal distribution changes in size-structured abundance estimates for a data-limited stock of Raja clavata

This Repository consists of processed data and code to reproduce the analyses (model fitting, prediction and sampling from the posterior of the best model) for the associated article:Accounting for spatio-temporal distribution changes in size-structured abundance estimates for a data-limited stock of <em>Raja clavata</em><strong>DOI : </strong>https://doi.org/10.1093/icesjms/fsae106<br>Research-vessel catch data for the North Sea and Eastern English Channel was obtained from ICES database on trawl surveys (DATRAS) for <em>Raja clavata </em>(WoRMS AphiaID: 105883) and processed to create a final dataset for spatio-temporal analysis with integrated-nested laplace approximation (INLA). The final processed dataset consists of hauls and catches from the International Bottom Trawl Survey (NS-IBTS) for Quarter 1 and 3, the Beam Trawl Survey (NS-BTS) for Quarter 3, and the Channel Groundfish Survey (FR-CGFS) for Quarter 4. It further contains depth, substrate and habitat types associated with haul locations obtained from emodnet for the study area. The data and analyzes covers the period 1988-2023.<br>

本研究针对棘鳐（Raja clavata，世界海洋物种登记册（WoRMS）AphiaID：105883），从国际海洋考察理事会（ICES）拖网调查数据库（DATRAS）获取了北海与英吉利海峡东部的科研渔船拖网捕捞数据，并进行预处理以构建最终数据集，用于集成嵌套拉普拉斯近似（INLA）的时空分析。

最终处理后的数据集涵盖了第1、3季度的国际底层拖网调查（NS-IBTS）、第3季度的桁杆拖网调查（NS-BTS）以及第4季度的海峡底层鱼类调查（FR-CGFS）的拖网站位与渔获量数据。此外，数据集还包含从欧洲海洋观测与数据网络（EMODnet）获取的研究区域内拖网站位相关的水深、底质与栖息地类型信息。

本数据集与配套分析流程覆盖的时间范围为1988年至2023年。
