This repository contains the immutable raw experimental data acquired during solid-phase combustion studies of boron (B) and lithium peroxide (Li₂O₂) powder beds. The dataset preserves the original high-speed video recordings and, where available, synchronized spectral measurements exactly as recorded by the acquisition systems, without any processing, filtering, normalization, or frame selection. Raw data are provided on a per-experiment basis as ZIP archives (EXP_XXX.zip) to ensure data integrity and reproducibility. Each archive contains a standardized internal directory structure, including raw high-speed camera files (Photron .mraw with associated .cihx headers) and optional spectral data in CSV format. A top-level experiment folder is included within each ZIP to prevent file spillage upon extraction. Comprehensive experiment-level metadata are provided separately to describe acquisition conditions and synchronization parameters, including camera frame rate, recorded video frame range, composition identifiers, packing mass, and detailed timing relationships between video and spectral acquisition systems. Chemical mixture variants are encoded using symbolic composition identifiers (e.g., A, B, C), which are defined explicitly in a dedicated composition metadata table to enable relational consistency and extensibility. This raw dataset serves as the archival foundation for all derived processed datasets, analysis pipelines, and figures presented in associated journal publications and theses. The contents of this repository are intended for long-term preservation, independent reanalysis, and reuse by the combustion research community. Following publication, this dataset is considered immutable. Any future additions or corrections will be released only as a new version with explicit version notes, preserving full provenance and reproducibility.
